About Louie Gayao MD

I am Louie Gayao, a Filipino Neurosurgeon practicing mainly in Quezon City, Philippines. I am able to do different surgeries on the brain and spine. I remove blood clots from stroke patients, divert excess cerebro-spinal fluid (CSF)  in patients with hydrocephalus,  remove brain tumors, and occassionally tighten a few loose screws in special individuals.

I trained under the guidance of several Eminent Filipino Neurosurgeons at the  University of the Philipines, Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH). I was thought not only how to handle a scalpel, but most importantly to have a heart – “Puso”.  Our patients deserve the best medical care or service we can provide regardless of their financial capacity or status in life. Until today, I carry that conviction of providing the best care to all my patients given the limitations of our healthcare system.
